Marca Cassity is a bringer of acoustic soul spirit songs. Raised up in rural Oklahoma of indian blood and blue collar sweat, hard work is no mystery to her, and it shows in her art and her expression. Soon outgrowing small town life, Marca set out on many inward and outward journies, with her music and life being transformed by the influences of Pema Chodron, Ram Dass, Rumi, and transcendental music from around the world.
Marca's early musical influences include Johnny Cash, Janis Joplin, and Neil Young. The grace and grit of these roots combined with the circular energy of mantra leaves listeners touched, opened, and inspired to dig in the dirt.
